Teenagers

Is there anything better than being a teenager? The world is your oyster at that age and you don’t really have any concept of consequences or the troubles that await you as an adult. You can do whatever the hell you want and even if something goes terribly wrong as long as you don’t kill anyone you’re pretty much okay. It’s great being a teenager, especially if you’re heading off to college. You graduate high school near the end of your teenage years but there’s still a little time to stave off being an adult and goof around. That’s the beauty of 18 and 19 year olds.

If you choose to go off to college as a teenager then you get to enter a world almost entirely free of responsibility aside from the need to go to class and get good grades. Your rent is paid for (through loans or your parents), your food is paid for and the only thing you need money for is alcohol. There’s plenty of teenagers of the opposite sex ready to have some fun and all you really need is a good pickup line and some confidence. Like I said, the world is your oyster as a teenager.

If for some reason you don’t want to go to college then there’s still plenty of fun to be had. As a teen you’re not really given any responsibility so you can screw around for a few years doing a whole lot of nothing. You can drink a bunch, you can carouse, you can party and you can move around the world and explore all the beauty. Being a teenager is something I’d like to do for the rest of my life, to be honest. It’s sad that you can’t choose it as a profession because I would be all over that.
